Pastor Ben Anderson

Executive Director

Pastor Benjamin Anderson is a visionary leader who has dedicated the past 15 years to transforming the Southeast Colorado Springs community. Through his collaborations with numerous nonprofits and faith-based organizations, Pastor Ben has made an indelible impact on the region. His career is marked by remarkable achievements, including his distinguished service in the U.S. Army, where he retired with honor, and a highly successful career in the business world.

A man of deep faith and compassion, Pastor Ben has served as a prison chaplain, founded the Colorado Springs Music and Arts Center, and established the Solid Rock Community Development Corporation. Today, he continues to guide and inspire as the Senior Pastor of Solid Rock Christian Center. His leadership and commitment have not only strengthened the community but have also left a lasting legacy of service, empowerment, and hope.

Shameeka Ford

Associate Director

Shameeka Ford is a dedicated leader with a a wealth of knowledge in community and economic development, as well as talent and program management. With over 15 years of leadership experience, she has been a welcomed addition to SRCDC, helping to strengthen its mission of nurturing and preserving the rich heritage of Southeast Colorado Springs. Shameeka has faithfully served in leadership at New Vision Christian Center for more than two decades, embodying her commitment to ministry and service.

Her heart for the community is evident in everything she does. Shameeka is driven by a passion to uplift others and create lasting positive change. In her free time, she cherishes the moments spent with her family and continues to actively engage in the city she has been called to. She believes leadership, faith, and love for one's community can come together to make a real difference.

Yevgeniya Tsyganok 

Food Center Coordinator

Yevgeniya Tsyganok, originally from Ukraine, relocated to the United States at the age of seven and proudly calls Colorado Springs her home. With a passion for people, she is dedicated to improving the Southeast Colorado Springs community, striving to make it a better place to live. Known for her willingness to help others, she believes, "Even when resources are limited, there's always something I can do." This mindset has not only touched countless lives, but it has also inspired others to rise above their challenges.

Yevgeniya credits her success to the unwavering support of her incredible community, family, and friends. Their encouragement has fueled her journey, enabling her to leave a lasting impact on everyone she touches. She is a testament to the power of determination, compassion, and the belief that change is always possible—no matter the obstacles.

Deborah Anderson

Youth Programs Coordinator

Deborah Anderson, a Colorado Springs native, has been captivating audiences on stage since childhood. After earning her Master’s in Vocal Performance-Opera from the University of Denver in 2023, she joined SRCDC. Raised in a family devoted to community outreach, Deborah knew early on that she wanted to serve others. As Youth Program Coordinator at Solid Rock CDC, she enjoys working with youth aged 12-18 in Southeast Colorado Springs. 

With a desire to inspire a new generation, Deborah blends her artistic background with community development. She believes that the arts are a powerful tool for personal growth and social change. She is aiming to foster creativity, resilience, and hope in the hearts of young people. Through her work, she aspires to shape a brighter future, reminding everyone that they have the power to create positive change in their lives and the world around them.
